Our Service Areas Raleigh Coverage

Raleigh, NC

Kennedy Heating & Air has served Raleigh since 2008, with deep experience across every neighborhood from Hayes Barton’s historic homes to North Hills’ bustling commercial district. Our trucks run daily along Wade Avenue, Glenwood Avenue, and Capital Boulevard, responding to residential AC failures in Country Club Hills and commercial kitchen emergencies at restaurants along Six Forks Road. We’ve maintained HVAC systems in the office buildings around Crabtree Valley Mall and repaired walk-in coolers at establishments near NC State’s campus in Five Points.

Raleigh’s humid summers—often hitting 95°F with oppressive humidity—push residential AC systems hard from May through September, while our mild winters (rarely below 25°F) still require reliable furnace service in neighborhoods like Budleigh and Brookhaven. We know the older ductwork in Stonehenge’s 1960s homes and the modern mini-split systems in North Ridge’s newer construction. Commercial clients from the restaurants around Seaboard Station to the office parks near PNC Arena count on us for rooftop unit maintenance and commercial refrigeration repair. Our technicians navigate I-440 daily, reaching everything from the tree-lined streets near Shelley Lake Park to the commercial strip along Wake Forest Road. Whether it’s a failed compressor in a Hayes Barton residence or a down fryer at a North Hills restaurant, seventeen years serving Raleigh means we know these neighborhoods inside and out.

Your Business. Just better.

North Hills

North Hills—really Midtown Raleigh—sits at Six Forks Road and I-440, making it one of Kennedy Heating & Air’s busiest service areas since 2008. The mixed-use development puts residential high-rises, restaurants, offices, and retail within blocks of each other. We’ve maintained rooftop units along Dartmouth Road, repaired commercial kitchen equipment at Midtown restaurants, and serviced ductless mini-splits in luxury apartments. Walk-in cooler repairs, VRF system maintenance, and commercial refrigeration emergencies keep us on-site regularly. We navigate Lassiter Mill Road and Lead Mine Road daily, reaching Whole Foods Market to residential neighborhoods surrounding Midtown. Summer humidity hits hard—95°F days with AC systems running nonstop—while building density and commercial equipment create unique cooling loads. Seventeen years serving this district means we know the mechanical rooms, restaurant equipment failures, and fastest routes when Six Forks backs up.

Five Points

Five Points anchors Glenwood Avenue and Fairview Road south of NC State, where Kennedy Heating & Air has served restaurants, bars, homes, and student housing since 2008. Constant commercial kitchen demands mean fryer repairs, walk-in cooler maintenance, oven service, and hood system issues. We’ve maintained make-up air units, replaced compressors in refrigeration equipment, and handled emergency HVAC calls during dinner rush and weekend nights. The residential mix includes historic homes with aging furnaces and undersized AC alongside student apartments needing affordable repairs. We’ve installed ductless mini-splits where central air wasn’t feasible, replaced heat pumps near Pullen Park, and maintained commercial refrigeration in Glenwood South bars. Summer brings oppressive heat, but restaurant concentration means AC failures directly impact peak business. Seventeen years means we know the building stock and fastest solutions.

Garner, NC

Just south of Raleigh on Highway 70, Garner has grown from a small town into a thriving community where Kennedy Heating & Air serves residential subdivisions and commercial properties alike. We’ve maintained HVAC systems in the retail centers along Timber Drive and repaired commercial kitchen equipment at restaurants near the White Deer Park area. Our trucks regularly travel Garner Station Boulevard and Aversboro Road, responding to AC failures in the neighborhoods around Lake Benson and furnace issues in homes near Rand Road.

Garner’s location means we see the full force of North Carolina’s humid summer heat, with residential calls spiking when temperatures hold above 90°F for weeks. We’ve installed walk-in coolers for Garner businesses, serviced rooftop units on commercial buildings along Highway 401, and maintained make-up air units in restaurant kitchens throughout the area. Winter service calls pick up around Lake Benson when furnaces that sat idle since March suddenly won’t fire up in November. Raleigh HVAC Experts

Ask An Expert
We Have Answers
How much are service contracts?

We won’t know until we have a look at your specific situation. Once we get a handle on your equipment and layout, we can make a recommendation that makes sense.

Can you service specialized equipment?

Yes. We frequently service all types of heating and cooling systems, from glycol systems to cold storage and everything in between.

We’re building a data center, can you help?

Yes. We’ll work with your general contractor to coordinate the design, installation, and maintenance of a system that makes sense for your consumption, density, and layout.

Can you service our cooling towers?

Yes. Large systems with cooling towers, chillers, and custom air handlers aren’t a problem. We can either provide a one-time service if you just need something fixed, or recommend a service plan you can live with.

Do you do residential work?

Yes. We offer the same great service we provide to our commercial clients without salespeople and extra everything. Because we work with so many large and complicated systems, we can service your home quickly so you can get back to living.

Do we need to have a service contract, or can we just call you when something breaks?

That’s your choice, but you’ll pay less and have less with a service contract. Once you’re on a plan, you unlock lower pricing and get the added benefit of periodic maintenance, which may very well detect problems before they happen.
